Venue 1: Sunshine & Sons
Created by four best mates with a passion for the warmth of the Sunshine Coast and beautifully made craft spirits, nestled in the lush Hinterland behind the Big Pineapple, this distillery is a must see.
Tour the distillery and meet Maria and Sarah, their gleaming 6,000 and 2,500 litre Tasmanian artisan pot stills. Hand-made from the finest German copper and meticulously custom-designed to create stunning and complex flavour profiles. See the volcanic rock used to filter their Original Vodka and learn the unique and funny stories behind their eye catching labels.
Why visit:
Take a tour of the distillery and see where the magic happens, participate in a guided tasting session of handcrafted spirits including vodka, gin, rum and cane spirits or indulge in a cocktail on the lawn and enjoy the tranquility.
Venue 2: Diablo Co.
Established in 2017, Diablo Co began as a passion project for local venue owner, Dimitris Limnatitis. Experiencing firsthand the abundance of craft beers flooding the hospitality scene, Dimi spotted a gap in the market for a sessional beer alternative. An alternative to beer that was 100-percent locally produced, gluten-free, and satisfyingly suitable for Queensland’s balmy climate.
Producing a portfolio of products that supports Australian farmers and creates job for Australians is something they are proud of and drives them to share their products with venues Australia wide.
*NOTE: Diablo Co. opens from 1pm on Fridays
Why visit:
Immerse yourself in the Diablo Co world and try their range of ginger beer, vodka, rum and liqueurs, on their tasting deck.
Venue 3: Ricks Garage
Ricks Garage was originally a petrol station & workshop, now turned into an amazing retro diner & still functioning workshop.
Why visit:
Check out the fantastic décor, indulge in a whisky flight or see if you can handle their burger challenge. Live music, a chilled beer garden and an eyepopping menu makes this an ideal lunch stop.
Venue 4: Glass House Brewery
Proudly independent award winning craft brewery and pizza restaurant.
Why visit:
Try a tasting paddle of beers brewed on site, grab a freshly made pizza and sit in the sun in their beer garden.
