After you tour guide picks you up from your accommodation, your journey through the culinary delights of the Sunny Coast begins begins with a workshop like no other with living food experts The Fermentier.

 

It’s no secret that many people struggle to maintain a healthy diet. The Fermentier’s mission is to overcome this challenge with delicious natural living fermented food and drinks. 

All natural ingredients, traditional fermentation methods and live cultures underpin The Fermentier’s delicious produce. 

 

Your taste buds will be invigorated by the flavours and your gut will be delighted by the abundance of beneficial bacteria. Made in small batches, their range which includes Kombuchas, Sauerkrauts and Kimchi, are monitored closely to maintain quality and consistency.

 

Here you’ll enjoy an informative and fun pack tasting session and morning tea. Tastings include all their award winning Kombuchas, Honey Jun, Water Kafir, Milk Kafir, Sauerkraut's, Kimchi, relishes, pickles and conserves all paired with delicious local cheese.

At Woombye Cheese, they don’t just make cheese - they create an experience to be shared and there’s nothing better than sharing it with friends. That’s why they’ve included some of our most well-known friends (aka Ross, Rachel, Monica, Chandler, Phoebe and Joey) in their Cheese Masterclass, helping you understand cheese in a way you’ll never forget.

 

Smell, taste and touch your way through our cast of 6 and see how each cheese has a personality that you’re sure to recognise! 

Created by four best mates with a passion for the warmth of the Sunshine Coast and beautifully made craft spirits, nestled in the lush Hinterland behind the Big Pineapple, this distillery is a must see.

Tour the distillery and meet Maria and Sarah, their gleaming 6,000 and 2,500 litre Tasmanian artisan pot stills. Hand-made from the finest German copper and meticulously custom-designed to create stunning and complex flavour profiles. See the volcanic rock used to filter their Original Vodka and learn the unique and funny stories behind their eye catching labels.

 

Head to the garden for an informative tasting session of their handcrafted spirits including Pineapple Parfait Gin, inspired by the 1970's desert once served at the Big Pineapple. Original Dry Gin, bursting with natural Australian botanicals. Mr Barista, an organic molasses spirit infused with coffee and macadamia nuts. Original Vodka, pot-distilled and filtered through local volcanic rock.
